The Sun Kosi (meaning River of Gold) is easily reachable from Kathmandu in a few hours (on clear days the drive allows a glimpse of majestic Mt.Everest).

Quite simply put, this is a big river, after the monsoon it is high and wide and our 10 day trip offers correspondingly huge rapids, which are long and powerful. This trip is definitely not for the faint-hearted! In between, however, there is time to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery or take a shower in one of the stunning waterfalls along our way.

This trip also offers the possibility of exploring rural Nepal as several villages and numerous temples are to be found along the banks of the river. Leave western civilisation behind and travel 270 km on a journey of excitement and wonder.
